The French Consulate General invited the Foundation to present a unique exhibition on Antoine de Saint-Exup\u00e9ry\u2019s life and the story of \u201cThe Little Prince\u201d, as part of the famous French Arts Festival in Hong Kong, \u201cLe French May\u201d, in the main atrium of Olympian City 2, from 2 May to 2 June 2014.<\/p>\n

During the opening ceremony, the Consul General of France in Hong Kong and Macau, His Excellency Arnaud Barthelemy, recalled the visionary thinking and humanist values of Antoine de Saint-Exup\u00e9ry, which continue to be a tremendous source of inspiration, 70 years after his tragic disappearance during an aerial reconnaissance mission for France during WWII.<\/p>\n

\"05_DSC5155\"The Consul General also evoked the extraordinary life of this exceptional man, in the presence of Mr. Andrew S. Yuen, Chairman of \u201cLe French May\u201d, Ms. Nikki Ng, Group General Manager of Sino Group, Dr. Louis Ng, Assistant Director of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department of Hong Kong, and Mr. Lionel de Saint-Exup\u00e9ry, distinguished member of the Foundation\u2019s patronage committee.<\/p>\n

The Secretary General of the Foundation, Mr. Nicolas Delsalle-Mun, expressed his gratitude to the main partners of the exhibition and its educational workshops related to \u201cThe Little Prince\u201d: the French Consulate General, Sino Art & Olympian City, Medialink and the Antoine de Saint-Exup\u00e9ry Estate. Then he presented the Foundation\u2019s charitable activities in Hong Kong, through its support of the local NGO, Music for the Growing Mind, which helps disadvantaged Chinese children by providing them with musical education and social assistance.<\/p>\n
