At Sotheby\u2019s Fine Timepieces auction held on 29th<\/sup> November 2015 in Hong Kong, a customised Pilot\u2019s Watch Double Chronograph Edition \u201cLe Petit Prince\u201d from luxury Swiss watchmaker IWC Schaffhausen was sold for HKD 130,000. All proceeds from the sale benefitted IWC\u2019s longstanding partner, the Antoine de Saint-Exup\u00e9ry Youth Foundation, which decided to support Ebenezer School, the one and only non-profit organisation in Hong Kong that provides education and training for the visually impaired in the city.<\/p>\n Olivier d\u2019Agay, Delegate General of the Antoine de Saint-Exup\u00e9ry Youth Foundation, and Goris Verburg, Managing Director North East Asia of IWC Schaffhausen, presented to Remy Wong Kwan Bo, Principal of Ebenezer School, a cheque of the auction proceeds as well as the first-ever Little Prince tactile art book with drawings in relief and texts in English, French and Braille, published by blind artist Claude Garrandes with the support of the Antoine de Saint-Exup\u00e9ry Youth Foundation, during a press conference on 2nd<\/sup> December 2015 in Hong Kong.<\/p>\n Blind students from Ebenezer School were then invited to visit The Little Prince in the Dark<\/em> exhibition by French artist Arnaud Nazare-Aga, which was created in collaboration with the Foundation with the support of Pacific Place shopping mall and IWC. It features 13 all-white sculptures in relief (to be discovered by the senses of touch and hearing) that are presented in two dark tunnels at Pacific Place.<\/p>\n \u201cWe are pleased to have the famous philosophical and poetic tale accessible to the visually impaired thanks to this meaningful exhibition created by artist Arnaud Nazare-Aga and his PAJ\u2019Art Studio. All the magic, dreams and poetry of Saint-Exupery\u2019s beloved book are thus revealed in a new way never imagined before.
