Mr. Christophe Bigot. This event was organised with the support of the French Embassy in Senegal and the Institut Fran\u00e7ais of Saint-Louis.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-29896\" src=\"http:\/\/dev.fasej.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/04_Ambassadeur_Christophe_Bigot_BR.jpg\" alt=\"04_Ambassadeur_Christophe_Bigot_BR\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dev.fasej.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/04_Ambassadeur_Christophe_Bigot_BR.jpg 640w, https:\/\/dev.fasej.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/04_Ambassadeur_Christophe_Bigot_BR-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The schoolchildren and the Head of State read the letters that they had specifically written for this event, before putting them in an A\u00e9ropostale postbag to mark the launch of this unique writing contest designed to connect youth and to participate in enhancing the influence of French-speaking communities. Over the following months, children in France and around the world will be invited to do the same: to take up their pen and write a letter. These letters will then be collected, transported and distributed from September 2018 onwards during the Lat\u00e9co\u00e8re-A\u00e9ropostale aviation adventure race, which will unite Toulouse to Dakar.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-29898\" src=\"http:\/\/dev.fasej.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/05_Sac_Postal_BR.jpg\" alt=\"05_Sac_Postal_BR\" width=\"650\" height=\"487\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dev.fasej.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/05_Sac_Postal_BR.jpg 650w, https:\/\/dev.fasej.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/05_Sac_Postal_BR-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 650px) 100vw, 650px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mail will be presented randomly at each stopover during meetings with the local populations. After the conclusion of the aviation adventure race, the best letters will be selected and published by Gallimard in a book of short stories and also presented in order to showcase the creativity of youth and the richness of the French language.
