Through this album superbly illustrated with drawings by the author of The Little Prince<\/em>, as well as photographs by Yann Arthus-Bertrand<\/strong> and NASA<\/strong>, Jean-Pierre Gu\u00e9no invites readers to discover the visionary thinking that the writer-aviator developed in the 1930s around the question of the environment.<\/p>\n

Three personalities in the patronage committee of the Antoine de Saint-Exup\u00e9ry Youth Foundation contributed to this book. The preface consists of an interview with French astronaut Claudie Haigner\u00e9<\/strong>, Chairwoman of Universcience (French Science Museum), while the afterword is dedicated to Bertrand Piccard<\/strong> and Andr\u00e9 Borschberg,<\/strong> cofounders of Solar Impulse, the first airplane in the world powered solely by solar energy.<\/p>\n
