The Pel\u00e9-Pequeno Pr\u00edncipe (Little Prince) Hospital Complex of Curitiba, State of Parana, Brazil, and the Antoine de Saint-Exup\u00e9ry Youth Foundation organised a gala dinner, under the high patronage and in the presence of Mrs H\u00e9l\u00e8ne Conway-Mouret, Minister-Delegate for French Nationals Overseas, on Thursday, 25 October 2012 at the Cercle de l\u2019Union Interalli\u00e9e in Paris.<\/p>\n

This gastronomic dinner, crafted by great chefs of international renown – Claude Troisgros, Pierre Gagnaire, Michel Troisgros, Roberta Sudbrack and the Cordon Bleu chef Nicolas Jordan – assisted by Le Cordon Bleu international training school for culinary art, is part of the “Goals for life” Gastronomic Cup programme.<\/p>\n

\"24.Middle<\/p>\n

This three-year ongoing programme, from 2011 to 2014, is being carried out in five cities around the world – Curitiba, S\u00e3o Paulo, Paris, New York and Rio de Janeiro – in the aim of supporting this hospital centre, which has benefitted the health of children and teenagers in Brazil since 1919.<\/p>\n

It is the largest hospital centre dedicated to children in Brazil and the second largest in Latin America. The hospital and research institute managed by the Carneiro family are under the patronage of famous Brazilian football player Edson Arantes do Nascimento, better known as Pel\u00e9, and The Little Prince of Antoine de Saint-Exup\u00e9ry.<\/p>\n

This exceptional evening was graced by Fran\u00e7ois d\u2019Agay, President of the Antoine de Saint-Exup\u00e9ry Youth Foundation, Fl\u00e1via KURTZ, Pel\u00e9’s daughter, and many civil and military personalities, prior to the 70th anniversary celebrations of The Little Prince in 2013.<\/p>\n

Among the prestigious guests who attended were members of the Saint-Exup\u00e9ry patronage committee: writer and journalist Patrick Poivre d’Arvor, Dr Bertrand Piccard (Solar Impulse), actress Marie-Christine Barrault and pilot Dorine Bourneton.<\/p>\n
